brownie sundae

get the look: top (old gap similar here), skirt (kate spade), heels (old christian dior similar here or here), necklace (kate spade), earrings (kate spade)

Hi dolls! Hope you all are having an amazing Sunday so far! I had to share my new summer goodies I recently got. For those of you who are a little nervous about mixing brown and black... don't be and just DO IT! I love this new Kate Spade Coreen skirt with the white, brown, and black color blocking. You can honestly wear anything with it... For now I dressed it with a simple black shirt and statement necklace. Perfect brownie attire! (Even though I feel like a cupcake wearing it ;) Thanks for stopping by and would love to hear from you all!

livin in color

get the look: dress (kate spade), shoes (kate spade), cardigan (nordstrom rack old but similar here)

I LOVE this dress I recently got! This style and color combination is totally out of my comfort zone! (For those who know me well, it's rare to ever see me in colors other than blacks and neutrals). My favorite part about this dress are the pockets and fit. It's such a classic yet fun style. To add a different feel, you can add a gold or white belt! Hope you all love it as much as I do! Thanks for stopping by :)

simple sunday

get the look: chambray shirt (crew), jeans (kate spade), heels (kate spade), handbag (kate spade similar here), necklace (charming charlie similar here)

Do you ever feel lazy to get dressed in the morning? Do you just lay in bed staring at the ceiling wondering what to wear? That was me today! I sat and thought about what I had in my closet that was easy to throw together. I have always been so nervous to mix denim on denim but ended up loving this chambray and dark denim look. To add a little bit of "life" to my all denim outfit I added a cream statement necklace and a floral print pump. To me nothing screams sexy and classy more than a pointy toe pump! You can wear such simple pieces but really make the outfit with your accessories. I would love to hear what your favorite "simple sunday" looks are! Thanks so much for stopping by!

get the look: top (old michael kors), skirt (h&m), heels (steve madden, call miami store for yellow melon color), clutch (kate spade), watch (old michael kors similar here)

Hi dolls! Hope you are all having an amazing day and enjoying this gorgeous weather! I had to post my new favorites I recently bought while on vacation. I have been in search for the perfect neon yellow/green heels FOREVER and I finally found my new love. (Ok so maybe it isn't a new love if I have three pairs of the same heel already but in different colors, oops). Thank you Steve Madden for having this fab color!! I kid you not I spent hours and hours online shopping trying to find this color anywhere and even checked Steve Madden and the website didn't have anything! The Shoe Gods were in my favor while I was in Miami and the Marlenee heel in yellow melon was calling my name! I'm telling you all, I think this style of a heel is the sexiest and can be worn with jeans to dresses. Try it ;) And of course while wandering around the H&M in Lincoln Road mall this skirt caught my eye. I've seen these midi/flare skirts on other ladies and had to try it on for myself. Instant love while I paired the shoes with it! What's your favorite heel to wear with skirts?

Thanks so much for stopping by! Would love to hear from you all.

skirt sunday

get the look: tee (kate spade), skirt (kate spade), shoes (kate spade), crossbody/clutch (kate spade), watch (michael kors)

Hi dolls! Happy Sunday! Hope you all are enjoying this amazing weather Mother Nature decided to share with us. I've been sick of cold weather and am finally in spring wardrobe mode! Recently I have been obsessed with Kate Spade's t-shirts that have the cutest sayings. I love to mix and match casual pieces (a t-shirt) with fun, girly pieces (skirt and heels) to create a comfortable yet flirty look. For those who know me well, I normally prefer to wear black but have been branching out to a pop of color here and there (hence the vivid yellow accessory). Hope you all enjoy this post and would love to hear from you all!

think spring

get the look: overalls (express), shirt (target), heels (kate spade), handbag (similar kate spade), sunglasses (gucci

dear winter, i am over you.

Hello dolls! In honor of this lovely snow we have on the ground, figured I would post my spring inspired outfit I wore this weekend when the sun decided to visit. Can I just share how obsessed I am with my new overalls!? It brings me back to the 90s when it was actually cool to wear. I did a modern twist with it and wore my new favorite floral heels! (shockingly they aren't black pumps like I normally wear). I think a pointy toe pump is so sexy and can make any casual outfit dressy. (love them with boyfriend jeans as well!) Anways, I hope you all enjoy this post and outfit as much as I do! Would love to hear from you all as well!

wedding wednesdays

Happy Hump Day dolls! Now that the weather is warming up and wedding season is approaching, I've noticed a lot of my clients and close friends are in "wedding mode" so I thought I would do a wedding post for today. I've put a classic and chic look together for a bride to wear to her bridal shower. With that particular style of dress, it can be transitioned into cold weather months with layering of a edgy crop leather jacket or a simple colored blazer. The accessories from jewelry to handbag are so flirty and different. Where else can you find a license plate clutch?

gift ideas for the bridesmaids...

Above are some fun gift ideas for your bridesmaids that they will definitely use after the wedding! They are inexpensive and sentimental as well (read the sayings on the bangle!) A fun nail polish set is great too and you can have your girls wear the colors at the wedding to compliment your color scheme (that way everyone matches).

hope you all enjoy this post!

sunday blues

get the look: sweater (lucky brand), plaid shirt similar (gap), watch similar (old michael kors), flats (tory burch), sunglasses similar (old chanel), handbag similar (old mulberry)

Can you tell my favorite color is blue? I've been obsessed with polka dots lately and had the perfect plaid shirt to wear it with! I also tried it on with a simple chambray shirt, which gave it a completely different look. I'm slowly getting out of my comfort zone of solid colors (mostly black and grey). I have learned to love prints and mix match them together. Today I thought I should have some fun with these two pieces while still being comfortable. To complete the blue theme, I pulled out my favorite snake skin carved Bayswater handbag (also a great workbag with the adjustable interior buckles inside to make more room for your files). Hope you all enjoy!

flashback friday: crazy sexy cool

my version:

(express)
(american apparel)
(jcrew)
(kate spade)
(kate spade)

Happy Friday! As you can see I'm taking it back to flashback Friday and found some inspiration. To this day I am still obsessed with the TLC Crazy Sexy Cool album and their style in general. Growing up listening to them, I always wanted to copy their styles. I even remember going to the local Hair Cuttery with my sister and asked if I can get my haircut like Tboz. I was told no but got a short hair cut anyway where it touched my chin. Back in the day I LOVED wearing overalls and wore it with only one shoulder on, one shoulder buckle hanging off (yes I thought I was too cool). Since the 90s style is back with plaid shirts and baggy jeans... it's only right that I find the right pair of overalls that I can wear with heels nowadays and still have a girly, sexy look to it. Now this is my inspiration picks, so stay tuned.. I WILL get these pieces and wear them out!
