think spring

get the look: overalls (express), shirt (target), heels (kate spade), handbag (similar kate spade), sunglasses (gucci

dear winter, i am over you.

Hello dolls! In honor of this lovely snow we have on the ground, figured I would post my spring inspired outfit I wore this weekend when the sun decided to visit. Can I just share how obsessed I am with my new overalls!? It brings me back to the 90s when it was actually cool to wear. I did a modern twist with it and wore my new favorite floral heels! (shockingly they aren't black pumps like I normally wear). I think a pointy toe pump is so sexy and can make any casual outfit dressy. (love them with boyfriend jeans as well!) Anways, I hope you all enjoy this post and outfit as much as I do! Would love to hear from you all as well!

wedding wednesdays

Happy Hump Day dolls! Now that the weather is warming up and wedding season is approaching, I've noticed a lot of my clients and close friends are in "wedding mode" so I thought I would do a wedding post for today. I've put a classic and chic look together for a bride to wear to her bridal shower. With that particular style of dress, it can be transitioned into cold weather months with layering of a edgy crop leather jacket or a simple colored blazer. The accessories from jewelry to handbag are so flirty and different. Where else can you find a license plate clutch?

gift ideas for the bridesmaids...

Above are some fun gift ideas for your bridesmaids that they will definitely use after the wedding! They are inexpensive and sentimental as well (read the sayings on the bangle!) A fun nail polish set is great too and you can have your girls wear the colors at the wedding to compliment your color scheme (that way everyone matches).

hope you all enjoy this post!

sunday blues

get the look: sweater (lucky brand), plaid shirt similar (gap), watch similar (old michael kors), flats (tory burch), sunglasses similar (old chanel), handbag similar (old mulberry)

Can you tell my favorite color is blue? I've been obsessed with polka dots lately and had the perfect plaid shirt to wear it with! I also tried it on with a simple chambray shirt, which gave it a completely different look. I'm slowly getting out of my comfort zone of solid colors (mostly black and grey). I have learned to love prints and mix match them together. Today I thought I should have some fun with these two pieces while still being comfortable. To complete the blue theme, I pulled out my favorite snake skin carved Bayswater handbag (also a great workbag with the adjustable interior buckles inside to make more room for your files). Hope you all enjoy!

flashback friday: crazy sexy cool

my version:

Happy Friday! As you can see I'm taking it back to flashback Friday and found some inspiration. To this day I am still obsessed with the TLC Crazy Sexy Cool album and their style in general. Growing up listening to them, I always wanted to copy their styles. I even remember going to the local Hair Cuttery with my sister and asked if I can get my haircut like Tboz. I was told no but got a short hair cut anyway where it touched my chin. Back in the day I LOVED wearing overalls and wore it with only one shoulder on, one shoulder buckle hanging off (yes I thought I was too cool). Since the 90s style is back with plaid shirts and baggy jeans... it's only right that I find the right pair of overalls that I can wear with heels nowadays and still have a girly, sexy look to it. Now this is my inspiration picks, so stay tuned.. I WILL get these pieces and wear them out!
